Mother Jones Community Foundation Inc. (MJCF) is a West Virginia corporation and is exempt from federal income taxation under Internal Revenue Code (IRC) Section 501(c)(3). Donations may be deducted pursuant to IRC Section 170. For donations of $250 or more, MJCF requires your name and a valid email address in order to provide you with a receipt per IRS rules. Failure to provide such information may impact your ability to deduct your donation under IRS rules.
We will not sell, share or trade our donors' names or personal information with any other entity, nor send mailings to our donors on behalf of other organizations.
This policy applies to all information received by MJCF, both online and offline, on any Platform ("Platform", includes the MJCF website and mobile applications), as well as any electronic, written, or oral communications.
To the extent any donations are processed through a third-party service provider, our donors’ information will only be used for purposes necessary to process the donation. Donations made through this website will be used for general purposes of the MJCF and its authorized programs.
